Kazakhstan, new country where Greenside starts its journey

Greenside will start operating in Central Asia, offering waste collection and recovery services in Kazakhstan, initially in Almaty and soon throughout the country.

In this way, Kazakhstan joins the list of countries to be able to offer a regional service to our customers and continue with the work of waste management, ensuring a sustainable final destination, using traceability tools and international control and verification systems.

With an area of almost 3 million km2, Kazakhstan is the 9th largest country in the world and is home to two of the largest lakes in the world, the Caspian Sea, considered the largest saltwater lake in the world, and the Aral Sea, a body of water that sadly has been at the centre of one of the greatest natural disasters of the 20th century.
